Wood & Veneer
Philippe Hurel cabinetry reflects traditional craftsmanship, including fine veneer work that requires thoughtful care.
Maintenance:
* Use a chamois or a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean and restore sheen.
* Dry immediately with a soft cloth.
Precautions:
* Do not use commercial dusting sprays, polishes, or shine-enhancing products, as they may damage the finish.
* Avoid placing damp or wet objects (such as ice buckets or glasses) directly on wooden surfaces.
* Wipe up any spills immediately to prevent damage.
Important Environmental Information:
* Traditional veneer is sensitive to humidity and moisture.
* Avoid excessive humidity or rapid changes in environmental conditions.
* Maintain a stable indoor climate to preserve the integrity of the wood.
Restoration:
* For scratches, stains, or veneer damage, professional restoration is recommended.
Fabrics
Philippe Hurel does not manufacture fabrics directly. When fabric is supplied, it is sourced from specialized textile manufacturers.
Maintenance:
* Always follow the care and cleaning instructions provided by the fabric manufacturer.
* Professional dry cleaning by a specialist is typically recommended.
Important:
* For all cleaning, maintenance, or stain removal inquiries, refer directly to the fabric manufacturer’s guidelines.
Precautions:
* Avoid direct sunlight and heat exposure, which may cause fading or deterioration.
* Address spills promptly according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Restoration:
* For significant staining or wear, consult a professional upholstery cleaning specialist in accordance with the fabric manufacturer’s guidance.
Leather
Each leather piece carries its own natural story, with variations in tone and texture that make it unique.
Maintenance:
* Clean everyday stains with a soft, damp cloth.
* Wipe gently and avoid excessive moisture.
Precautions:
* Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources, which may dry or fade the leather.
* Do not use harsh cleaners, solvents, or excessive water.
* Natural variations in color and grain are inherent and not defects.
Restoration:
* For conditioning or deeper cleaning, consult a professional leather care specialist.
